ARCANA is a contemporary digital art exhibition project exploring symbolic figures, passages, and transformations of the image within an immersive visual experience.

Exhibition — Body of Work (Sept. – Dec. 2025)

Figures of Remanence brings together a body of work developed around the memory of the image, trace, and visual persistence.
Through digital, luminous, and cinematic dispositifs, these works examine how bodies, forms, and movements continue to inhabit the gaze after their appearance.

The images presented do not seek to fix a moment, but to extend its imprint. The body appears as a restrained presence, often stylized, inscribed within a space where time expands and light becomes a material of transformation. The notion of remanence — in its perceptual and visual sense — structures the entire project.

Conceived as an exhibition, Figures of Remanence brings together several collections developed over an extended period, now considered as a coherent corpus. Each series explores a specific modality of trace: luminous persistence, memory of movement, tension between appearance and disappearance. Their combination allows for a transversal reading of the work, beyond the original serial logic.

The exhibition proposes a sensitive pathway, without imposed narration. It leaves viewers free to experience the images at their own pace, within an experience where transformation operates progressively, often silently. The works function as perceptual thresholds, inviting prolonged attention rather than immediate reading.

Figures of Remanence thus constitutes an essential phase of the work: a retrospective and structuring ensemble, directly connected to contemporary image-making, which prepares and sheds light on later research focused on transformation, passage, and becoming.

Presented Corpus

  • Retro-Pop (I, II, III)

  • Afterglow

(Digital works — partial dissemination on external platforms)

Positioning

Figures of Remanence is conceived as an autonomous exhibition, adaptable to various presentation contexts (art centers, exhibition spaces, digital pathways).
It forms part of an artistic continuity that will find its extension in the ARCANA project, while asserting a distinct identity — more restrained and directly connected to the performativity of the image.

Constitutive Exhibitions

Figures of Remanence brings together several exhibitions developed around the memory of the image, trace, and visual persistence.
These projects, initially conceived as autonomous ensembles, are now presented as a coherent corpus, allowing for a transversal reading of the work.

Retro-Pop in Motion - II

Exhibition — Digital Art
Exploration of the figure as a luminous and stylized surface, situated between graphic tension, cinematic remanence, and the artificial memory of the image.

Retro-Pop Fashion - III

Exhibition — Digital Art
Retro-Pop Fashion III extends and intensifies the visual language of the series, emphasizing the stylization of the body and the cinematic dimension of the image. The figure becomes an unstable luminous surface, inscribed within an artificial and persistent temporality.

Afterglow

Exhibition — Digital Art
Afterglow explores the image in its residual state, after appearance. The exhibition develops a research around progressive erasure, luminous trace, and the memory of movement, allowing the performativity of the image to emerge beyond the figure.
