Afterglow is a digital art exhibition exploring the residual state of the image, after the passage of movement.
Developed as a succession of perceptual states rather than a narrative, it forms part of the Figures of Remanence ensemble, of which it represents one of the most restrained and contemplative expressions.
Afterglow — a video collection
The state beyond movement.
What remains after the passage.
In Afterglow, movement is not a climax.
It is a passage.
Afterglow is conceived as a succession of states rather than a sequence of stories.
The works do not tell a linear narrative; they describe a transition.
The body is present — sometimes still, sometimes in motion — but always restrained.
Light, space, and matter evolve without ever becoming spectacular.
What remains is not the transformation itself,
but what follows it:
the persistent light,
the suspended gesture,
the moment when time seems to pause without disappearing.
